David was born and educated in England, and began his career at the British Museum Library in Bloomsbury, before discovering his passion for the entertainment business.

His career in broadcasting began with a three-year stint at the BBC, where he was a researcher then journalist, having been accepted for a highly coveted place on their training course for radio reporters.

While working for Clive James – one of the BBC’s top presenters – David was dispatched to Hollywood to book guests for the country’s highest rated talk show. As soon as he arrived in Los Angeles, he realized he’d experienced enough harsh English winters, and decided to stay for good.

His early career in the U.S. involved producing a number of high-profile authorized TV specials centered on pop culture, including: ‘The World of James Bond’ hosted by Elizabeth Hurley, and ‘Elvis in Hollywood’ for BMG.

David’s creative energies and focus then took a slight change of direction when the DVD revolution began, and he became one of the main content providers for the Hollywood studios, going on to win over 30 awards for his work documenting TV & film classics such as: ‘Dr. Strangelove’, ‘On the Waterfront’, ‘Lost’, ‘Mission Impossible’, ‘The X Files’ and ‘Hawaii Five-0’ to name but a few.

This incredible opportunity brought him into close contact with a vast and varied assortment of ‘A’ list talent, from JJ Abrams to Tom Cruise and Al Pacino, as well as high-level experience with some of the top show-runners and studio executives in the business. His experience with both cast and crew extends to global knowledge of specialized needs in almost 30 countries worldwide.

A proud Cubaphile and member of Vedado films since 2017, David lives in Los Angeles, CA with his daughter Athena, and chose not sever ties completely with the motherland, having been a member of Lords (The M.C.C.) since 2007.
