Giselle is a Cuban filmmaker with an MA in Documentary by Practice, from Royal Holloway University of London. She was awarded in 2019 with the Chevening Scholarship which enabled her to study in the United Kingdom. She graduated with a bachelor degree from the University of Arts in Havana, Cuba (ISA). As part of her undergraduate studies, she did an overseas course at St Thomas University in Minnesota, USA; where she got a Film Minor. Giselle has engaged in different film projects as a fixer, assistant director and producer for international and Cuban companies. She is starting to direct her own documentaries with a specific interest in depicting current social issues in her home country, Cuba. Lista Quinta is her first documentary feature, which has been awarded with over a dozen film festivals laurels worldwide.
