Rafael Vega Rivera
Rafael Vega Rivera is a talented Assistant Director and Producer. Graduated with a Communications Degree with a specialization in Audiovisual Production. Professor of Production at Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA). Registered member of RECAC, Cuba’s National Registry of Creators of Audiovisual and Cinematographic Art .
As the founder of Cuba’s Ludi Theatre Company, Rafael has produced over ten critically acclaimed full-length stage shows, which have gained significant recognition among the island nation’s theater audiences. He also established the highly regarded multi-cultural center that houses the Ludi Theatre Company, recognized as one of Havana’s top artistic development spaces.
Simultaneously, Rafael has been cultivating a promising career in audiovisual production and directing assistance on high-profile projects with notable companies such as Netflix, History Channel, PBS Chicago, SunStones, and Vedado Films. As a member of the creative collective at the independent company Vedado Films, he excels in his roles as Producer and Assistant Director.
